The Woodbrook Medical Centre Patient Participation Group (PPG) was formed in January 2012 by a number of enthusiastic patients and staff with a common desire to try to improve the healthcare provided by the surgery.
Your voice, our practice — shaping care together.
We know it’s not always easy to come along to meetings. Between work, studies, family, or caring for others, life can be busy! But that doesn’t mean you can’t have your say.
That’s why we’ve set up a “virtual” community. By keeping in touch over email, you can still share your ideas and play an important part in our Patient Participation Group (PPG).
We’d love to hear from people from all walks of life — whether you’re a student, working, retired, living with a long-term condition, or part of our wonderfully diverse community. The more voices we have, the better we can represent everyone.
Our Virtual Patient Participation Group is here to make it easier for patients to share their thoughts and concerns with us, so we can listen and respond. It’s also a great way for patients and VPPG members to get to know more about the Practice, our team, and how we work.
Being a part of the Virtual PPG
As a member of our virtual group, we’ll get in touch by email now and then to ask for your thoughts on different topics. Your feedback will help us make the practice more accessible and responsive, and you’ll also be one of the first to hear about news and updates.
If you’re happy for us to contact you occasionally by email, just click the link below to open the sign-up form and fill in your details. Rest assured, your contact information will be kept safe and only used for this purpose.
Joining the group won’t affect your medical care in any way. All information you provide will be handled securely and in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
