What is e-CONTACT?
e-CONTACT is a new secure online system that will enable our patients to get in touch with the practice using their smart phone, tablet or PC. You may have a medication or prescription query, a question about a referral or you may want to ask our clinicians a non-urgent medical question. We recognise that it can be difficult for our patients to get through on our phone lines and not everybody is able to hold in a queue to speak to our reception team. We hope that our new e-CONTACT service will allow patients the flexibility to get in touch at a time that suits them.
This service is only for NON-URGENT medical queries.
It should never be used for medical emergencies such as severe chest pain, loss of consciousness or profuse bleeding. In an emergency please call 999 or go to A&E.
We will endeavour to respond to your queries as soon as possible but please bear in mind this is a new system and while we are getting to grips with its management it may take us slightly longer to deal with your queries. The system will allow you to submit queries at any time of the day but if you submit after 12 or over a weekend it will be at least the next working day that you will receive a response. If your symptoms change or your condition worsens it is your responsibility to either get in touch with the practice or speak to another health care service as appropriate.
